The Men Act This Way Mentoring Program is a faith based mentoring program for boys founded by Mr. Keith Mitchell in 2013. It was originally known as Boys of Distinction School Program until 2019 when Men Act This Way became its new name. The goal of MATW Mentoring Program is to be a guiding light in the lives of young boys.
Led by seasoned male figures, the program promotes social skills, community, skill-building, and more to the young men of today to better prepare them for life goals and life choices. Partnered with over a dozen elementary schools and three middle schools, the impact MATW has on each young boy up to caregivers, faculty members, and more is profound.
With several programs to aid in the education of young men, MATW is far from lacking. VRArt Studio’s role in its partnership with MATW includes, but is not limited to, video editing, graphic animations, graphic designs, website development, and maintenance of the MATW YouTube Channel.
